Facilitator for the course
The facilitator is Mr. Bilika H. Simamba, who is a UK and Canadian trained legislative counsel with over 10 years’ experience in the Cayman Islands and about 30 years’ experience in drafting legislation in the Commonwealth. He has published in legislative drafting and law in general in peer reviewed journals in the UK, South Africa, the Caribbean and elsewhere. Some of these materials will be used on the course. Bilika has also taught legislative drafting online at postgraduate level for Athabasca University of Alberta Canada, and taught legal drafting at the International Development Law Institute (IDLI) in Rome, Italy. He also has a book of the same title as the course, specifically on the Cayman Islands.

Duration, fees
1/2 day, 3 1/2 contact hours. CI 350.00 per participant, if conducted in Cayman. Subject to variation for other jurisdictions. Rebates possible depending on numbers registering.
